Series

The Chinatown Food Series was a natural progression from the Old Building Series. After painting these facades, one would be curious to explore the insides of the stores;the colors and justapositon of the cans and shelving became the basis of this series.

In the midst of busily producing work for Space ( Los Angeles ) in the '70's and 80's, the majority of these pieces have never been shown in Hawai'i.
